This guy is better at Ghost Squad than you

I like Ghost Squad, and perhaps maybe even you like Ghost Squad, but compared to this gamer from Thailand, we are the worst Ghost players ever. Seriously. This guy has played so much Ghost Squad that he memorized the scenarios scene for scene, and even goes as far as to mimic actions such as kicking in doors, taking cover, blind-firing, and saluting officials. He is the pinnacle of what a Ghost should be, and we should all aspire to his expertise.

Sling some lead in the Bodycount demo now available

Codemasters' pseudo-sequel to the cult-classic shooter Black--Bodycount--is now available to demo on the Xbox 360. As of now, the demo is a Gold member exclusive, and will have players square off against enemies in Africa in the early missions of the campaign. Weapons on hand include a G36, Super 90 shotgun, proximity mines and grenades.

No word on a PlayStation 3 demo yet, other than Codemasters saying it "will follow" the 360's demo.

The studio also released another developer diary, and you can peep that after the break.

Bodycount lets you enjoy sliced bread with a large, heavy machine gun

Another Bodycount developer diary is here, and this time we learn a whole lot about the game's art direction, the factions, and the artificial intelligence. But, amidst the brief lesson we also get to see more carnage and "shredding" take place, which is worth watching the video to begin with. I have my hopes for Bodycount--I hope this game becomes this year's pleasant surprise. 2011's sleeper hit, if you will. Besides, this game is apparently better than sliced bread, because sliced bread doesn't have machine guns.

Think Halo: Reach is too slow? Here's "Speed Halo"

Some people think that Halo games play a bit on the slow side, and that's completely understandable. I love the series, and even I at times want something with more "oomph." Well, that can all change with this custom gametype and map made by the duo of DBC MAK3R COM3 and Darth Human called "Speed Halo."

Words can not do it justice...

I've come into the Pawn Shop today to sell my MJOLNIR armor

Recently I've found myself quite addicted to the History Channel show Pawn Stars. As shop owner Rick Harrison says in the opening of every episode, "you never know what's gonna come through that door." Well, I bet his son Corey and co-worker Chumlee never would have thought that somebody would come through the door looking to sell a custom set of Halo MJOLNIR armor for $2,000. Let's see what the guys at the Pawn Shop think about that offer.

Over 30 minutes of pure Battlefield 3 weapon/character customization footage

Those official "Operation Métro" Battlefield 3 trailers were short, yet sweet, but YourGamingTeam's YouTube channel uploaded a whopping 30+ minutes of Battlefield 3 footage ranging from weapon and character customization to more footage of the "Operation Métro" multiplayer map.

If you can't wait to get your hands on Battlefield 3, this will certainly make you drool.

Resistance 3 Dev Diary Talks Weapons, Ratchet & Clank

Insomniac Games is known for their "out of this world" weaponry, so it goes without saying that people are wondering what kinds of peacemakers the team is bringing to their upcoming shooter Resistance 3. Well, this new dev diary talks about just that--weapons! We also hear a little about how Insomniac's other series, Ratchet & Clank, plays a role when developing Resistance 3.

Check out the "Full Circle" dev diary after the jump.

Overview/Commentary: See How Awesome EDF: Insect Armageddon Is

I picked up Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon yesterday and for those of you out there who don't know what the game is about, hopefully this brief commentary will help shed some light on the matter. The video after the break gives a quick rundown of the first mission and contains lots of bug killing action!

Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is out now for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $39.99.

And People Started Hacking...

YouTube user Freddiew is back again with another video, and this time he reflects on the recent barrage of hackers attacking video game systems and websites. What really happens to those who are affected by such travesty?

I think a dramatic "no...!" is all one can do in such scenario, as displayed in the clip after the break.

Don't be Fooled, He's Quite Possibly the Coolest [And only] Old Geezer on the Battlefield

Jaap, at 66 years old, is quite possibly the coolest grand-dad you'll never know. Well, I'm not so sure he's a grandfather, but one can't help but assume. When he's not digging holes in his garden, he's sniping holes in the heads of helpless victims as he lays low on the vicious battlefield of Bad Company 2!!!

And guess what? He's inviting everyone in the world to play with him, so if you want to tear it up with Jaap, add him on PSN--ADHD_WACKO_JACKO

Brink Informs You on its Classes

Another entry in Brink's "Get SMART" series has been released, and this time you will be learning about the game's various classes. This could also give you a jumpstart on deciding who you'll want to play as once the game is released next week for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Get SMART with Brink's HUD

No! Not that Get Smart!

Bethesda Softworks has been running a short video series for their upcoming game Brink titled, "Get SMART", and while we haven't posted any of the prior videos in the series, this latest one caught my fancy. As with any game, the HUD, or head's-up display, plays a vital role in your gameplay experience, and knowing what doo-dad does what can be an invaluable asset.

Thus, we have the lastest Brink "Get SMART" video that teaches you everything you need to know about the game's HUD. So, break out those notebooks!

Judgment Day Arrives in Binary Domain

Arnold warned us, right? The robot war has begun!

Binary Domain is a third-person shooter from SEGA, and more specifically, the team behind the Yakuza series. The first trailer for the game is embedded after the break and it shows off a rather impressive looking title; expect a lot of shooting, sliding, and, oh, yes...huge robots!

SEGA's shooters are usually interesting in concept, like the recent Vanquish which brought stellar third-person action. If you missed that title, be sure to check it out when you get the chance.

Binary Domain is slated for an early 2012 release and will be out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Black Ops goes to the Grindhouse! Call of the Dead Trailer

A new trailer for the upcoming Black Ops "Escalation" DLC pack has arrived, and this time we get a peak at the "Zombies" map included in the content. Titled, "Call of the Dead", this new map will not only provide "an exciting new zombie experience," but also the likes of zombie legend George Romero as an actual zombie!

Additionally, the team members involved in this level include Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund (original Freddy Krueger), Machete's Danny Trejo, and The Walking Dead's Michael Rooker.

Englund looks cool, but man...he's really missing that sweater. Post-DLC...DLC, perhaps?

The "Escalation" DLC is set to launch on the Xbox 360 on May 3.

Look in Awe: The Executions of Gears of War 3

The Gears of War 3 beta is currently underway and if you are unable to play until next week then you may be wondering; "how can I see the game's new executions?" Well, the video below is probably the best way to start, as it shows a nice chunk of execution moves Gears 3 has to offer. Oh, and all of them are pretty awesome.

Also be sure to check our Boot Camp article for the Gears of War 3 beta where we give a brief rundown on what do on the battlefield.

Get a Sneak Peak at Resistance 3's Boating Adventure

New single-player footage of Insomniac Games' upcoming shooter Resistance 3 has been released, and in it we get a brief look at a boating adventure starring Captain Capelli and Dr. Malikov. This is the same level that Insomniac showed at its recent Community Day in Hollywood a few weeks ago, and it's also the same level that attendees were able to play.

Unfortunately, we can only watch...

Get Dedicated with New Gears of War 3 Multiplayer Vidoc

Vidocs are always fun to watch, especially for high-profile games! Okay, perhaps video documentaries are not everybody's cup of tea, but I have a slight feeling this new Gears of War 3 multiplayer video-feature titled "Dedicated Execution" will tickle your fancy for roughly four minutes.

A Look Back at Duke Nukem's Origins

Before Duke Nukem was in a vicious cycle of delays, he started out as a 2D-sidescroller. In fact, in his 2D days he also looked rather pleasant, always having a huge smile on his face. Now, he's a guy who has the intention of slapping women in multiplayer matches while chewing bubblegum.

Many people like the Duke, and if you want to know the backstory behind the series, the video below does a good job at informing you on just that. The short documentary features Randy Pitchford from Gearbox Software, Scott Miller of 3D Realms, and Allen Bum of Triptych Games just to name a few faces.

Rebecca Chambers Playable in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D

An off-cam YouTube video shows footage of Resident Evil 1 character Rebecca Chambers being playable in the upcoming handheld title, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. This is the first time she has been shown, announced, mentioned, or had anything to do the The Mercenaries 3D, so this is rather interesting.
