Bungie's Marathon trilogy has been remastered by open source project Aleph One and is now a free download [via CVG] across PCs, Macs, and Linux devices everywhere.
Bungie's classic shooters have been enhanced with online co-op and multiplayer, "modern mouse-look," OpenGL shader and gamepad support, and plug-in support for mods.
While all three games sport high-res facelifts, the first Marathon in particular now has a modern heads-up display, high-resolution graphics, and "extensive changes to the scenario."
