Although a satisfying and ridiculously fun experience, Dead Island has some pretty gaping flaws, and developer Techland is putting all of their attention toward patching up Dead Island before they release any downloadable content.
Speaking to Kotaku, a Deep Silver spokesperson stated, "Right now the Dead Island development team's priority is working on fixes and updates across all platforms so that we can take care of all of the fans who have been so supportive of our game. There is some awesome DLC content planned for Dead Island, but first we have to put all our focus on the base game experience."
A PC patch was released recently, and as announced yesterday on Twitter, an Xbox 360 patch has also been dished out, fixing connectivity, autosave, and quest issues among other problems. No word on when the PlayStation 3 will see its patch, but Kotaku has been told it will be done as soon as possible.
