While I normally try to stray away from these sort of posts, I felt this time Deep Silver is deserving of their praise for shipping over 1 million units of their zombie shooter/RPG hybrid, Dead Island, with 2 million units expected to ship by the end of the week.
Dead Island has also topped many charts around the world, ranking numero uno in regions such as North America, UK, France, Spain, and Austria, as well as being in the ten globally best selling games on Steam last week.
After my dive into the zombified paradise, I have to say Dead Island is a fun ride and I fully intend to purchase it in the near future. Oh, and learn from my mistake, due to Dead Island's length, it will perhaps be your most expensive Redbox rental yet.
