Battlefield 3-specific NVIDIA GeForce drivers are scheduled to release on September 26--a day before the game starts its closed beta--graphics card manufacturer NVIDIA revealed to BF3Blog. The drivers are said to alleviate any driver incompatibility problems users may have with the beta, something which was seen during the beta for 2010's Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
The new drivers will also provide better performance overall with NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards, and allows users to max out certain options, such as tessellation, or the breaking down of polygons into finer pieces.
