The open beta for Battlefield 3 has finally been dated, and will begin next Thursday, September 29 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The playable map will be Paris' close-quarters "Operation Métro" station, which we've seen quite a bit of in the past few months, and will feature the series' attack-and-defend mode, Rush.
The beta will run until October 10, and those who have either a Limited/Tier 1 copy of Medal of Honor or pre-ordered Battledfield 3 on Origin can access the beta two days early, September 27. If you plan on playing Battlefield 3 on PC, you can still receive early beta access by pre-ordering on Origin by September 25.
