People give the Wii a lot of crap when it comes to the amount of hardcore games available for the system, but that doesn't mean consumers aren't enjoying what's available. Our friend Scott at CoffeeWithGames proves just that with his new Call of Duty: Black Ops playtime report. In a combined effort, 108,985 players reported a total of 7,655,023 hours played, with an average of 70 hours and 15 minutes per-person. Per day, 2 hours and 47 minutes is the estimated playtime average.
This trend doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon either (that is, until Modern Warfare 3 comes out), as 44,000 more gamers have started reporting playtime data in just the last four months.
As much of a feat as this may be, Black Ops is only the most-played Wii FPS per-person, with World at War holding the crown for total hours played.
