Razer's 'Blade' is apparently the world's "first true gaming laptop"

Listen, I don't know a damn thing about gaming on a PC. It's just too confusing for me, and from my naive eye it also seems rather expensive. However, I do know one thing, and that proclaiming your product as the "first true" anything is a huge pair of shoes to fill, but that's exactly what Razer is doing with their newest gaming laptop, "Blade."

This 17", full aluminum setup comes equipped an Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce graphics and weighs under seven pounds at less than an inch thick. With its weight and size, Razer aims to bring "true portability" to PC gaming.

The "Blade" also utilizes Razer's award-winning Switchblade User Interface, comprising of "ten dynamic adaptive tactile keys for easier access of in-game commands," and a multi-touch LCD featuring two modes: one when a mouse is in-use, displaying in-game information, and one as the aforementioned multi-touch panel for "gaming on the go."

At $2799.99 a pop, this "true gaming laptop" may be a tough sell for some. But, again, what do I know about PC gaming? This could be a steal and I wouldn't even know it.

The "Blade" will be available in North America in Q4 of this year.
