Ah, glossy Xbox 360 S, we hardly knew ye. Only a little over a year after its release, the 250GB Xbox 360 S will no longer be shipped with a fingerprint magnet design, and will instead come with the matte black finish we've already seen with the 4GB Arcade bundle.
The matte finish will arrive in stores within the coming weeks, so odds are whatever glossy systems retailers currently have stocked will be their last...ever, ever. Major Nelson did, however, mention the idea of the glossy system returning with special Limited Edition bundles. So, that obviously means the glossy system will be a yearly release, just like [and most likely alongside] the Call of Duty series!
