Legendary composer Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Inception) has lent his helping hand of expertise towards creating the score for the upcoming first-person shooter, Crysis 2. Zimmer teamed up with the composers already working on the project to create the music that sets the tone for a player fighting in wartorn New York City in the year 2023.
Zimmer notes:
"I was drawn to Crysis 2 because of Crytek's passion for the project and the world they created. And I am very happy with the outcome."
You can hear Zimmer's latest work when Crysis 2 hits shelves March 22, or, by downloading the multiplayer demo on your console of choice (released on PlayStation 3 today). Gamers in Europe will be able to download the soundtrack on iTunes and other music outlets starting March 22. Lucky them.
