Crysis dated for XBLA, PSN

The original Crysis will launch on October 4 for the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network for 1600 Microsoft Points ($19.99), EA announced today

This "modified and enhanced" version of the 2007 PC shooter features refined nanosuit controls, stereoscopic 3D support, and runs on the CryEngine 3.

[UPDATE] Crysis heading to the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this October

2007's smash PC hit, Crysis, will be releasing on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this fall, as revealed exclusively on GameTrailers TV last night.

The debut trailer (here) features all in-game footage from the Xbox 360 version (as well as praising quotes), and the game itself is said to boast "all new lighting, all new effects, and all new Nanosuit controles."

Only a release date of October was given, so we'll just have to wait a little while for pricing.

[UPDATE] EA announced Crysis will be priced at $19.99/1600 MS Points.

Rumor: Original Crysis Console-bound

There have been many rumors about the original Crysis hitting consoles, but perhaps now we have a bit of concrete evidence. MyCrysis user catmario1121 posted a thread noting the Korean Game Rating Board listed Crysis to come out for the Xbox 360. The ESRB soon followed suit with a listing of Crysis for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

While Electronic Arts has yet to comment, many ESRB listings in the past have mostly come out to be true. We'll keep you posted as to whether or not Crysis actually sees the light of day on consoles.
