Once upon a time in Battlefield 3, players looked through their infrared scope and said "Haha, I see you." But those days will come to a close as DICE complies with IRNV scope complaints from player feedback, according to a GameSpy interview.
"Based on player feedback, we have made some tweaks to the IRNV scope to make it more balanced with the rest of the accessories in the game," DICE's Karl Magnus Troedsson said.

Troedsson also mentioned DICE responding and taking feedback seriously, as well as hammering down hackers and cheaters. But who needs hacks and cheats when there's IRNV scope? ...While it lasts, anyway.
