Installing Battlefield 3's second disc onto the Xbox 360 will allow for higher-resolution textures to appear on-screen, DICE's Patrick Liu revealed to GamerZines. This is a voluntary install, he added, so those running low on HDD space can still play the game, albeit in a lower-resolution.
As noted last month, Battlefield 3 will be on two discs on the Xbox 360--most likely one disc for the campaign, and the other for the multiplayer and co-operative elements.
