Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine's co-operative element, "Exterminatus," will be releasing as a free downloadable add-on this October.
The mode is based on your, soon to be obligatory, standard horde-based gameplay, pitting you and up to three buddies against waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Each kill acquired adds points to your score, which you can use to upgrade your death-dealers.
There are two scenarios for the mode, both featuring multiple arenas and global leaderboards to entice you to be the best [damn space marine], like no one ever was!
The experienced earned here will also go towards your multiplayer ranking, essentially allowing you to kill two birds with one stone.
