Here's another limb to add to the ever-growing fire that is Battlefield 3 versus Modern Warfare 3: Valve announced today that Activision's upcoming shooter will be available for purchase on Steam--currently available for pre-order--and will utilize all of the service's features, such as Steamworks achievements and auto-updates.
This is in severe contrast to the shenanigans EA is pulling with Battlefield 3, which dumped Steam in favor of the new Origin client.
As mentioned in an earlier post, Modern Warfare 3 will also support dedicated servers, but that was obviously done to ensure Activision won't have to delete countless petition e-mails from their inbox.
