Wondering when a new Unreal game will be coming out? Well, perhaps in the near future, but not...quite...yet. Epic Games President Mike Capps noted that while the Unreal series is "an awfully loved franchise" and one that the company holds near and dear, their other projects--Gears of War, Bulletstrom, Shadow Complex, Infinity Blade--have been keeping them from delivering another installment.
Capps then went on to tell Industry Gamers, "sometimes I think just as a business man that maybe we should be spending some more time with our existing franchises."
Unreal Tournament III released in 2007, the series' last installment.
