Before there was any talk of
Halo or Master Chief, Bungie was making
Marathon. This first-person shooter was also available on Macintosh computers, and now, in 2011 things will go back to the way they used to be (sorta) with the release of
Marathon on iPad.
Bungie loved the iPad port created by fan Daniel Blezek, so much so that they decided to release the game on the tablet for free. The
word on the net is the game has already been submitted to Apple and should appear on the device within the next week .
