Communicate flanks with Mad Catz' Gears 3 Headsets

Sure, "Gears of War 3 is one of the most anticipated titles arriving for holiday 2011," but how cool can you be just playing the game? Elitists, or "1337" players will undoubtedly need a pair of Mad Catz' Gears of War 3 headsets, ranging in three flavors.

The products on hand include the Throat Communicator ($29.99), the Performance Stereo Gaming Headset ($99.99), and last but not least, the Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound Headset ($179.99).

I'm not sure how the Throat Communicator works, but Mad Catz notes that all three headsets are "high-quality audio products." If you are interested in either of them, well, they are available for pre-order today.

Would you rather be a pro at your favorite FPS instead of a lowly noob? Now you can be, because the MadCatz FPS Pro GamePads for the Xbox 360 are now in stock in the U.S. and Canada. These wired controllers come in three flavors--Stealth Black, Army Green, SWAT Blue--and feature Combat Buttons that allow for on-the-fly button remapping that span nine pre-set modes. Oh, and the thumbsticks have some nifty LEDs!

The controller's description also notes that "perfectly executed headshots are easier than ever," however, I still think that a person's skill plays some sort of role in that department.
