A "Prestige Edition" will not be available for Modern Warfare 3, Infinity Ward's community manager Robert Bowling tweeted this weekend. This is a complete change of pace from the past few Call of Duty titles which shipped in three different SKUs: the standalone game, an $80 "Hardened Edition," and a $150 "Presitge Edition"--which, for Modern Warfare 2, came with a set of night-vision goggles.
This year's "Hardened Edition" of Modern Warfare 3 costs $100 and includes, among other things, a year's subscription for the new Call of Duty service, Call of Duty Elite.
