"Bloodbath Arena," the first batch of downloadable content for Techland's Dead Island, was set to launch this month, but as previously noted, the studio wants to patch the main game before releasing any add-ons, and that's still an ongoing process.
The team has insisted that they are "working hard to make the 'Bloodbath Arena' DLC available as soon as possible," but "further polishing" must still be done.
"Bloodbath Arena" brings with it four new areas in which to slay the undead, a new weapon, and the ability to bring XP over to the main campaign.
