If you have never fought the Locust horde before yet are interested in Gears of War 3, don't fret--GameInformer found out that Epic Games is adding a "Casual" multiplayer mode that will only feature those who are new to the series. How? By looking through your Achievement list; those who have achievements from either of the first two Gears games or even participated in the beta are not eligible for this playlist.
To make things even more "newbie-friendly," "Casual" mode will also have aim assist.
Sounds pretty good to me, as this will hopefully turn more people onto the game.
